Pregnant? the way you notify us has changed

As soon as you find out that you are pregnant, please email the Topaz Midwife Team, not forgetting to include us in on the email aswell.

NHS Diabetes Advice helpline - Wednesday 27th May 2020

NHS England and NHS Improvement have launched a new helpline in response to disruption to normal diabetes services due to the COVID-19 pandemic and response.

The service is for adults living with diabetes who use insulin to manage their condition and require immediate clinical advice.

Whether you or a member of your household have caught the virus, or routine care has been disrupted, the helpline is available for immediate clinical advice to help you understand how to effectively manage their diabetes.

You can access NHS Diabetes Advice via Diabetes UK’s support line on 0345 123 2399 Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm.

Boots Pharmacy - Station Road closure

Boots Station Road are closing on Saturday 13th June 2020. Any uncollected prescriptions or orders can be collected from: Boots, 2 Talisman Square, Kenilworth CV8 1JB

If you do not wish to change your nominated pharmacy to Boots Talisman Square, please ask your new pharmacy to sort out your nomination set up.

Cervical Smear Text Scam - May 2020

Public Health England have reported a possible scam. Some women are being contacted by text message. The message claims to be from the recall service. Women are being advised they are overdue for screening. The messages asks them to call the mobile number and provide personal details 

Please note: The NHS Cervical Screening Programme DO NOT text patients, if you receive a text DO NOT respond. There is no need for further action as Public Health England are already aware and have reported this to the Action Fraud Line.

From 20th May 2020, Organ Donor will become an “opt out” system due to a change in law passed by Parliament.
