Dr David Spraggett

Available Thur, Fri, Sat (Rota). My clinical interests include paediatric medicine, cardiovascular disease and chronic neurological conditions. I also have expertise in minor dermatological surgery, joint injections and coil fitting. I am Chairman of South Warwickshire Practices Commissioning Consortium and I am an approved assessor for General Medical Council performance procedures and Fitness to practice. I am a trainer of GP Registrars in the practice.

Available Mon,Tue, Fri AM, Sat (Rota) My special interests include all aspects of family planning, women's health, ante natal and post natal care and coil fittings. I am involved in medical student education, teaching and assessing.

I train and assess qualified doctors in contraceptive and sexual health, including coil fitting and implants. I am involved in medical student education, teaching and assessing.

Clinical Pharmacist

The practice employs 3 Clinical Pharmacists. They support the Practice and ensures that we prescribe safety and to the latest guidance. Gail Eales is at present developing our repeat dispensing system, which will allow patients who are on long term regular medication, to be prescribed 12 months in advance. Please ask you Doctor if you feel this system would benefit you.

The practice employs locums on short-term contracts as the need arises. The doctors are fully qualified and accredited to work in general practice.


Our Practice Nurses are qualified to carry out a wide range of services including cervical smears, contraceptive advice, coil checks, child immunisations, travel immunisations, wound dressings, suture removal, blood pressure checks, new patient checks, spirometry, ECG’s, urine tests and can give general lifestyle advice and can monitor and treat patients with Diabetes, Chronic Heart Disease and Hypertension.

I can undertake and have had specific training to carry out wound dressing, blood tests, blood pressure checks, new patient checks, suture removals, spirometry, ECG’s, smoking cessation advice, urine tests and can give general lifestyle advice.

Cheryl Roger

Available Thursday a.m & Friday. Cheryl is fully trained phlebotomists and can undertake all blood tests. We currently offer a variety of blood appointment times throughout the morning and early afternoon, but because blood needs to be transported to the hospital, the majority of appointments are offered during the morning.

Medical Students

The practice supports the training of medical students from Warwick University Medical School. The student mostly observes other doctors consultations, but occasionally will lead the consultation, with the support of a GP trainer. You will always be informed if a medical student is present.


Mrs Harris and Mrs Dodd have both been employed at the practice since 1989. They job share the practice management role and are responsible for all aspects of running a very busy practice. They both have a Masters Degree in Primary Health Care Management. Chloe joined the Practice in 2018 and is the Assistant Practice Manager.

The administrative staff have the responsibility for processing practice claims, summarising new patient records, entering clinical data received from other healthcare providers, overseeing registrations and dealing with temporary resident administration. They also ensure that patient records are accurate and they send recall letters to patients for chronic disease annual reviews and support the Practice Managers.

I am the Practice Secretary responsible for typing and processing referrals and letters to the hospital and helping patients with referral queries or problems. My direct line is 01926 865897.


The reception staff will assist you in making any appointments, process repeat prescriptions, answer numerous questions and offer help and assistance at all times. They are also responsible for distributing the incoming mail and scanning all patient correspondence onto the practice computer. Press option 2 on the telephone system, to speak to the reception staff. It is a legal requirement that confidentiality of patients' records is maintained at the highest level by all staff.
